Richmond beat Saracens to claim Women’s Premiership final

Richmond got off to a great start when player of the match Emma Croker crashed over the line early on from a rolling maul. And they extended their advantage with a fine try, the backs showing off some slick handling as they moved the ball right, before skipper Jackie Shiels picked up and scored from close range after the attack had been halted just short of the line. However, Saracens then put together a long period of pressure and they were held up over the line as Richmond defended gallantly, before Shiels was yellow carded when she illegally intervened as the try-line came under threat once again.  women sports And Saracens then opened their account when they moved the ball right and centre Lauren Cattell took an inside pass before crossing for the score.
